Made by Dyslexia, Richard Branson's charity, created a pop-up sperm bank that would only accept "submissions" from men with dyslexia as a way to highlight the positive aspects of dyslexia. When Branson's organization learned that dyslexia was a DISqualifying factor for sperm donation at a traditional sperm bank, the Dyslexic Sperm Bank was conceived 😉as a way to highlight all the highly sought after skills people with dyslexia bring to the world.
Some stats from Made by Dyslexia:
🌀75% of dyslexics are above average visualizers.
🌀84% of dyslexics are above average at imagining new things.
🌀71% of dyslexics are above average communicators.
🌀84% of dyslexics are above average problem solvers.
🌀80% of dyslexics are above average at connecting with others.
🌀84% of dyslexics are above average explorers.
These are the the 21st century skills educators try to nurture and grow to keep up with our changing world.
Seems folks with dyslexia are ahead of the game.
